NORTHBAY BAPTIST'S 
STATEMENT OF FAITH

We believe in one God who created all things.
We believe in the tri-union of God that there is
Father, Son and Holy Spirit

We believe that mankind is stained with the sin
nature passed down by Adam and Eve and that
man is headed for an eternity in Hell without the
intervention of Christ

We believe Christ Jesus was born of a virgin and
lived a sinless life and that he willingly laid down
his life and died for our sins and then rose
again, defeating death and Satan 3 days later.

We believe that one must have belief in Jesus and
his death for our sins and also must acknowledge and
repent of their sin and make a commitment to follow
Christ in order to receive eternal life

We believe that Baptism is not essential to salvation but
a sign of ones obedience and commitment to Christ
as their Lord and Savior.

We believe in the gifting of the Holy Spirit to
equip each Christian for service to God.
